Beautiful Disaster.

okay i cannot resist the temptation to blog about tonite.

tonite was the greatest nite one could ever had. at least it applies for me.

MGS WON JG DEBATE GRAND FINALS! MGS SERIOUSLY ROCKS.the whole thing started around 6.30pm and mansi and i were a bit late but oh well. then at first it was UWC against nanyang but i was hardly paying attention haha. but i guess the UWC people are quite good. then when it was time for the mg debate team to debate against acsi, we were all screaming and waving our flags. i have to say that our team did superbly well. but then the top speaker of the whole tournament was from the other team plus the adjudicators kept hinting that acsi did really well so when it was time to announce the champions, we were all expecting that it was gonna be acsi and practically every mgsian was like closing their eyes and preparing for the humiliation. but then when the mark gabriel guy announced it was mg, everyone went mad! we practically sprang up from our seats and started screaming our lungs out. it was such a historic moment.

my butt hurt from all that sitting down for almost 3 and a half hours and my tummy was growling by the end of the event cos i was stoopid enough not to have my dinner before coming but i guess it was worth all the pain. i was almost in tears when we were announced winners. OH SWEET JOY.

i think it'll take some time for the excitement to wear out and i dont think i'll be able to sleep tonite. even if i do, i probabbly be dreaming about the whole debate thing.sheesh.

anyways apart from today, the whole week was quite good i guess.
i did quite okay for bio but i think i screwd up my a math test real bad. oh wells. i've got mt school tmr morning and we're gonna get back our sa1 papers. one good thing is that even if i dont do well which is quite expected, it wont be counted so it wont affect my grades and all. YAY(:

i better go get some sleep or else i'll fall asleep in mt school tmr. thats all for now folks.

HELLO.

swim meet was..HOT. like really hot. okay at first it wasnt too bad but then it started getting worse. and mansi BROKE my fan so we couldnt use that either. mansi's always breaking my stuff. anyways i had to come to school extra early in da morning so that i cud grab my geog txtbk from under my table then wait with my class at the quadrangle to catch the bus to toa payoh. but my morning didnt really go that well. cos when i went into 3D, it was all dark and eerie. i could even hear sounds coming from under my table. okay maybe that was just my wonderful imagination. so after that, our class waited for at least an hour before the bus came. if only i had known, i could have slept at home for another ONE HOUR. so we were like really really late by the time we reached the pool. but i didnt really mind cos i guess its ALOT better to sit in school rather than squeeze yourself at the congested supporters' stand): oh well.

yeah and by 10am i think we were alll melting under the sun. i was sleeping on ziza during the second half of the meet but then ziza is all bony and hard so it wasnt THAT comfortable either. haha ziza i'll make sure u gain more weight by next year's swim meet yeah? so after the meet, we three went to macs for fries and then later emily and chui joined us too. yeah and the part in the mrt was so FUN cos we were all having this stoopid competition on who can stand the longest time in the train without falling or holding the pole. mansi,ziza and emily were pretty stable but chui and I were having the most difficult time of our lives trying to balance ourselves. yeah and we kept laughing so that made matters worse. haha but chui was like super funny lah. she laughed so hard that she wanted to pee. sheesh.

so thats the end of our swim meet. but something really funny happened today. the threee of us had planned to do cip today at jurong east library cos it's a public holiday. so we went all the way to jurong east all prepared for cip but when we reached there, we found out that the library was closed during public holidays! yeah so since we didnt want to go back home all frustrated, we ended up watching eight below. it was such a touching movie(:

i dont know why but im suddenly missing s club 7 ALOT. and i've been singing their songs ever since morning. okay thats random.. anyways thats all for today. BYE.

this week is like so slack. becos of djw, we missed the first period of class from monday to wednesday. so that includes missing physics on tues and ss on wed. haha i didnt mind missing physics at all(: plus tomorrow we have swim meet and friday's good friday. yipee!

sigh i got back my physics test today and it was DISASTEROUS.i guess physics just aint my cup of tea):

something superr hilarious happened today. mansi, zizi and i were walking down the corridor beside the home econs room and then suddenly we saw mrs lucy tan.

mrs tan: hello girls!
us: good morning mrs tan!
mrs tan: mansi! i thought you went to NJC. so glad to know that you didnt leave.
mansi: ummm i never even applied for NJC.
mrs tan: anyways how's sneha and LAXMI? are they doing well in NJ?
all of us: uhhh who's laxmi?
mrs tan: u noe that indian girl who used to partner sneha in cooking?
(we all realise she's talking abt shanti and me and ziza practically bursts out laughing)
mansi(trying to suppress herself): uhh mrs tan, her name's not laxmi.
mrs tan:oh yeah now i remember! her name's pram pram pram something rite?
all of us: it's PRASHANTI!

then mrs tan gets embarrassed and then she starts to walk away while the three of us began laughing untill our stomachs hurt.
